In honor of Gabriel, who was born with severe congenital disabilities in 1990, the Gabriel’s Foundation of Hope provides several $500 scholarships annually.

#3. Google Lime Scholarships for People with Disabilities

Since 2008, Google has been committed to supporting the work of Lime Connect.

Google is committed to helping future innovators make the most of their talents by providing scholarships and networking retreats for computer science students with disabilities.

2023 Google Lime Scholarship awardees will receive a scholarship for the 2023-2024 academic year.

In addition, selected students will receive an invitation to attend the annual Google Scholars’ Retreat at the Googleplex in Mountain View, California, in the Summer of 2023.

#4. Annie Ford and Allegra Ford Thomas scholarship application

The Anne Ford and Allegra Ford Thomas Scholarships receive annual grants from the National Center for Learning Disabilities.

Two graduating high school seniors with documented learning disabilities seeking assistance to pursue a postsecondary degree are offered this scholarship.

Scholarship Worth:

Annie Ford Scholarship will give out a $2,500 one-time scholarship award to Graduating high school seniors. In contrast, the Allegra Ford Thomas scholarship will give a $10,000 scholarship ($2,500/year over four years) to a graduating high school senior with a documented learning disability and ADHD who will be enrolled in a full-time bachelor’s degree program in the fall of 2023.

#5. Kristofer Robinson Scholarships for Students with Disabilities

This scholarship program is awarded to students who are paraplegic or quadriplegic and are residents of the State of Texas.

Through this program, recipients are provided with tuition, books, and necessary appliances about the particular needs of the student in pursuit of an education at any accredited school in the State of Texas, whether public or private, including elementary school, junior high school, high school, technical school, college or university, and graduate school. The National Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society is structured to support the families impacted by MS by connecting them to critical resources.

#8. ACB Scholarships for People with Disabilities

These scholarship programs are sponsored by the American Council of the Blind, Inc. – National Office (ACB).

This scholarship offers blind and visually impaired students the opportunity to attend colleges or universities, purchase computer equipment to make their academic pursuits more attainable, or lessen the need to work during a year of study.

The scholarship is provided solely based on merit/academic achievement to reward excellence. The scholarship awards are given to students who are legally blind.

Lime Connect has grateful to be an Equity Through Education partner of BMO Capital Markets to make scholarships available for students with disabilities.
